A Nation Turned Upside Down
Submitted by concerned on Mon, 2007-11-19 01:16.As we flip through news and reports this concerned poster is wondering were we are steering.
News just reported that there are organizations making sure that Islamic teaching can be added to school curricula. But when western religions are offered or taught, constitutional lawyers put a stop to it.
If police officers stop illegal immigrants the officers end up in jail.
Defend your home from a burglar and some people are more worried about the outlaw's than the victim's rights.

Who killed the Electric Car - after thoughts
Submitted by concerned on Mon, 2007-11-05 02:10.When CARB gave in to pressure and lawsuits from car companies and the Federal Government the Electric Car projects by larger companies were dead. The new mantra is Hydrogen Fuel Cells. Another goal to be set in the future so that current status quo is retained. Who could blame them. Not only carmakers would take in substantial losses from missing revenues of the spare and consumables business (oil filters etc), oil companies from the obvious loss of oil sales but your tax authority would suffer significant loss of revenue from all those missing sales.

The House of Reps derailed
Submitted by concerned on Mon, 2007-10-15 18:54.What were they thinking!! Pelosi is now trying to derail US relation ships. She can't get to the Whitehouse so she damages whatever relationships the US might have.
It is so very open that by her action she tries to stop the US support from Turkey and thus hinder the military efforts in the Near East.
Why not criticize the Germans for having Hitler (actually he was Austrian), the French for Indochina, The british and Spanish for wiping out native Indians, actecs, inka and maya nations. Why not go further back to the Sumerians, Persians, Romans etc, for their role in history.
