Internet Taxes - again
The government is at it again by attempting to tax the internet. I can see those politicians foam at the mouth imagining what they possibly could take in by taxing the internet.
This is another attempt by politicians to curb free speech and its access to it. The current internet allows anyone to publish their opinions without going through the censorship of multimedia entities which are in bed with certain political affiliations. Imagine putting taxes on reading newspapers. There would be an uproar. We already pay taxes for various things related to the internet. Buy the equipment, phone lines and whatever.
The government sees another source of revenue to continue its mismanagement of public funds. It is easy to spend other peoples money. When are we putting the "We the People" back into th e government. And I don't mean the democrats OR the republicans.
By controlling access to the media, creation AND consumption, the government is curbing and controlling public opinion. The same forces that try to eradicate the second amendment are now nibbling on the first.
Believe me, if they could get away with it they would tax every breath of air you take. Well, in a way this is already done. Look at the cost of living in certain areas.
People WAKE UP! Don't let them take you to the cleaners.
